The Parish Finance and Property Council is responsible for matters relating to the financial and property assets of the parish. members of the Council are currently:
Sue Allen (Gift Aid), Pio Altarelli, Fr Simon Blakesley, Pete Johnson, Terry Jones, Mark Kalinauckas, Neil Mayhew (treasurer), Crispin Muir, Sue Riseborough (Kate Smith Trust).
The Council manages
• Income/expenditure of the parish
• Revenue budgets
• Capital programmes
• Annual account returns to the diocese
In addition, the Council oversees the work of five teams that maintain and manage:
• Property assets at Bungay and Harleston
• Parish halls at Bungay and Harleston
• Central accounts – cash/card collections, standing orders and Gift Aid
Overall, 17 people are involved in the organisation of finances and property for the parish of Bungay and Harleston.
