The Anglican Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Rev Graham Usher, came to St Thomas More in Harleston to celebrate Holy Communion for the Seven Churches Benefice, a group of parishes in and around Harleston. This benefice includes St John’s Harleston, which was severely damaged by fire at the end of September. Since then their congregation has been using St Thomas More on Sunday mornings.
Our own Fr Sam came to represent our parish, with Fr Simon dropping in to say hello as soon as possible after Mass at Beccles. Pictured we see Bishop Graham flanked by those in locally ordained ministry (there is no rector at present), with Fr Sam behind.
