• SPUC follow-up meeting

Howard Trust writes:

Following the successful SPUC Campaign Meeting in the parish in February, a follow-up meeting is planned to agree to launch a branch on Thursday 29 May at 7 p.m. in St. Benet’s School Hall. Please
consider coming along. SPUC would welcome anyone willing to support the branch in any way, either large or small.

For further information, please contact SPUC Development Officer, Katherine Hampton, on 01892

The Report Stage of Kim Leadbeater’s Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (the assisted dying bill) is on Friday, 16 May. It is possible that the crucial third reading vote will also take place that day, though it is currently considered more likely that the vote will be on Friday 13 June. Whether or not the vote takes place on 16 May, it is vitally important that MPs are aware of the scale of opposition to this Bill. If you have not already done so, please contact your MP and ask them to vote against the Bill at Third Reading.
